Last September I spoke with Kristina Bauer and Angela Ehmke, Executive Producers of the groundbreaking aromatherapy documentary called, Uncommon Scents. We chatted about this amazing venture in Episode 17.

Recently we spoke again on a conference call in which they shared the progress of the film and the very important current stage of the project:  Crowdfunding.  Raising funds to ensure that this aromatherapy documents does, infact, manifest. It was a great call and I learned a lot about the perks you can get when you contribute...even a little!

Hydrosol, also known as distillate water or hydrolat, is the water that remains under the thin layer of essential oil after the distillation process. Hydrosols contain many of the benefits of essential oils but in a more subtle and gentle way. In this episode, Liz talks about hydrosols and how they're made and recommends hydrosols and methods that are super for allergy relief.
